    LIGHTING

PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHT FEATURES WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT THE HOUSE TO HELP US CONSERVE ENERGY! THANK YOU!

General: Most light switches are self-explanatory! There are switches on the walls in the living room and master bedroom that operate the neon signs. The top button on these switches turns on the neon sign, and the bottom turns it off. Please give it at least 2 seconds to turn on/off after pressing the buttons. Please note that these switches work using the white boxes that the neon lights are plugged into. Removing the plug from the white box will result in the switches not working.

Living room lamps turn on with a floor switch on the cord of each lamp – step on the switch to turn the lamps on/off.

To turn on the Dreamhouse neon sign outside, use the switch on the clear cord in the Scottsdoll Box room.

To turn on the photo lights in the Scottsdoll Box room, turn the knob on the cords attached to your desired brightness. Please note the lights take a few seconds to turn on after twisting the knob.

The kitchen has under cabinet lighting that is remote controlled. The remote is in the drawer to the left of the stove. Use this remote to turn on/off under cabinet lighting/change the colors! Point directly under the cabinets at the control boxes for each strand of remote-controlled lights to turn them on/off and to change the colors.

Lamp in the room with the leopard wallpaper is touch controlled. Tap the base or the pole to turn on the lamp/adjust the brightness/turn it off. There are ports on the back for phone charging cords to plug into!

Vanity Mirror: To turn on the vanity mirror, press the power button on the lower right-hand side of the mirror. Use the other buttons next to the power symbol to adjust the brightness.

String Lights: The string lights around the edges of the yard will turn on automatically at dusk, as they are solar powered, along with the solar spotlight lamps in the ground. The string lights over the pool can be turned on using the switch that is on the pink pillar of the outdoor grill. Please turn off the string lights when you are done for the night!

Pool Light: To turn on the pool light, open the small door behind the pool equipment (over behind the lifeguard chair) and flip the switch inside the door. Please turn off the pool light when you are done for the night!

    A/C & HEAT CONTROLS

Thermostat is in the hallway, on the wall.

Please do net set the thermostat lower than 70 degrees, as lower temperatures can cause severe damage to the system!!!

Maintenance Tips: In the rare event that power is lost in an area of the house, it is possible the GFI was tripped. If that happens, press the reset button on any outlet with a reset button. If this doesn’t work, contact your host who can either walk you through how to fix a breaker in the electrical box, or can come out to fix the breakers for you.
