We hope you have the best possible time during your stay.
That being said, we appreciate your help in keeping this neighborhood a quiet and family-friendly one. Please respect the City of Scottsdale’s quiet hours, which are between 10 PM and 6 AM. Our neighbors have requested that you please keep the noise level down outside in the front and backyard, between said hours.
Thank you!

LIGHTING
PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHT FEATURES WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT THE HOUSE TO HELP US CONSERVE ENERGY! THANK YOU!
Pool Light: To turn on the pool light, go behind the half wall over in the left-hand corner of the backyard and open the cover on the top electrical box, where you will see a white light switch. Press that to turn on the pool light. There is a small white remote that is on top of the charging station in the kitchen that can change the mode/color of the light. To use the remote, you must raise the antenna and go over right by the pool light and point the antenna towards it. The remote only works well if you are close to the light itself.
Please turn off the pool light when you are done night swimming!
Fans/ceiling lights: Use the light switches/remotes on the wall in each room. Please try and put the remotes back in their designated space when you leave!
Outdoor String Lights: When you walk out into the backyard, turn right once you exit the covered patio. You will see the electrical breaker box. To the right of the breaker box is a black control switch. You will press the button on the control switch to change between modes as shown on the display on the control box. You can set the lights so they stay on for a certain amount of hours, or stay consistently on. Please turn off the string lights at 10 PM when quiet hours begin, or before you head indoors for the night! Thank you
A/C & HEAT CONTROLS
Thermostat is in the hallway, on the wall.
Please do net set the thermostat lower than 70 degrees, as lower temperatures can cause severe damage to the system!!!
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Cleaning Supplies: Vacuum and broom can all be found in the laundry room. Cleaning agents are under the kitchen sink.
Trash & Recycling: Please carry garbage bags to the black bin out front. Extra trash bags are under the kitchen sink. Please take recycling to the pink bin out front. Please refer to the “trash days” page at the beginning of the manual for instructions on when to roll the bins to the curb.
Filtered Water: We recommend that you do not drink the water directly from the sink. The refrigerator has a filtered water dispenser. Please also use filtered water in the coffee maker.
Coffee Maker: Coffee pods are in the K cup holder next to the coffee maker. We recommend using filtered water or bottled water to fill the coffee maker reservoir.
Kitchen: Fully stocked with everything you need to cook at home for a night in. Please use plastic cups when drinking outside near the pool. Pots/pans are in bottom cabinet to the right of the stove. The silverware drawer is to the left of the stove.
Extra Items: Extra toilet paper is under the sink in each bathroom and in hall closet. Extra paper towels are in the laundry room. Laundry soap, bleach, and dryer sheets are in laundry room for your use.
Maintenance Tips: In the rare event that power is lost in an area of the house, it is possible the GFI was tripped. If that happens, press the reset button on any outlet with a reset button. If this doesn’t work, contact your host who can either walk you through how to fix a breaker in the electrical box, or can come out to fix the breakers for you.
